圆柱与方柱侧面积与体积之比，直接看下图。

The ratio of the side area to the volume of the cylinder and the square column.

 

由图可见：

（1）随着直径或者边长的增大，AS/V减小。

（2）直径为D的圆柱与边长为D的方柱，其AS/V是一样的。

（3） 直径为D的圆柱的体积或侧面积 只有 边长为D的方柱的体积或侧面积的0.785倍。
