PERFORM-3D(Nonlinear Analysis and Peformance Assessment for 3D Structures)由美国加州大学伯克利分校的鲍威尔教授(Prof. Granham H. Powell)开发,由美国著名的结构分析软件公司CSI(Computers and Structures,Inc.)负责发行和维护,是一款致力于三维结构非线性分析和抗震性能评估的软件。

作为一款结构非线性分析软件,PERFORM-3D具有丰富的单元模型及强大的非线性求解器。软件支持的单元类型包括:线性和非线性纤维梁柱单元、各类梁柱塑性铰单元、纤维剪力墙单元、弹性板壳单元、粘滞阻尼器单元、屈曲约束支撑单元、橡胶隔震支座单元、摩擦摆隔震支座单元、支座弹簧单元、节点核心区、砌体填充墙等,可以用于抗震结构和减隔震结构的分析模拟。

PERFORM-3D软件提供了丰富的分析工况,具体包括:重力工况(Gravity Load Case)、静力Pushover工况(Static Push-Over Load Case)、动力地震时程工况(Dynamic Earthquake Load Case)、反应谱工况(Response Spectrum Load Case)、卸载Pushover工况(Unload Push-Over Load Case)、动力荷载工况(Dynamic Force Load Case),且各类工况之间的分析顺序可以自由衔接,能够满足大多数结构的弹塑性分析要求。PERFORM-3D软件采用了“事件到事件”(Event to Event)的非线性求解策略,在实际应用中发现,PERFORM-3D的非线性求解器具有较高的求解效率及良好的收敛性。

另外,作为一款结构抗震性能评估软件,PERFORM-3D拥有一套完善的结构性能评估系统,能够实现基于材料、构件及结构三个层次的抗震性能评估。

PERFORM-3D软件目前已广泛应用于我国的结构抗震研究领域及实际工程实践中,是工程界和科研界认可度与接受度较高的结构非线性分析及抗震性能评估软件。

PERFORM-3D (Nonlinear Analysis and Performance Assessment for 3D Structures), which is a powerful software that can provide nonlinear analysis for 3D-structure and seismic performance evaluation, is developed by Prof.Granham H.Powell Berkeley, California, USA. PERFORM-3D is released and maintained by a American well-known structure analysis software company CSI(Computers and Structures, Inc).

As a nonlinear structure analysis software, PERFORM-3D has abundant element models and a powerful nonlinear solver. Element types supported by the software include: linear and nonlinear fibre beam-column element, different kinds of plastic hinge element, fibre shear wall element, elastic shell element, viscous damper element, buckling-restrained brace element, rubber bearings brace element, friction isolation support element, support spring element, joint core area, masonry filler wall etc. Therefore, PERFORM-3D can simulate and analyse anti-seismic structure or seismic-isolation structure.

PERFORM-3D software provides all kinds of load case, including: gravity load case, static push-over load case, dynamic earthquake load case, response spectrum load case, unload push-over load case, dynamic force load case. The analysis order of different kinds of load case can join together freely, which can satisfy elastic-plastic analysis on most of structures. PERFORM-3D adopts “event to event” nonlinear solving strategy, which makes it high efficiency in solving rate and better convergence.

In addition, PERFORM-3D has a set of prefect seismic performance evaluation system, which can evaluate the seismic performance based on three levels: material, member and structure.

Nowadays, PERFORM-3D has been widely used in structure seismic research field and practical engineering application in our country, which is become a high reorganization and acceptability nonlinear analysis and seismic performance evaluation software in engineering research community.
